The Republic of Macedonia is not an EU Member State, but it has candidate status for EU membership and has ratified the European Common Aviation Area (ECAA) Agreement with the EU and other countries. To comply with its obligations under the ECAA Agreement, the Republic of Macedonia has to harmonize its aviation legislation with the EU aviation legislation specified in Annex 1 of the ECAA Agreement.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Republic of Macedonia keeps records of all aviation rules and regulations, as well as ratified multilateral agreements which are in force in the Republic of Macedonia in its Aviation Regulations Code (ARC). In addition, the CAA maintains a list of bilateral air services agreements.
The text of national legislation and bilateral agreements can be found in both English and Macedonian on the CAA website. Alternatively, the links below redirect to the English texts.
